Can I use a shared, public, school or work computer to sign up?

No. If you join with a computer that others may join from it is very likely that your account will be disqualified due to duplicate accounts. Please understand that this is one way we check for duplicate accounts and cannot afford to make exceptions for multiple accounts created from the same computer or computers sharing the same internet connection/proxy server.
